Want to know how to stop anxiety panic attacks at home? Then you should read this guest post:
I know a lot of young adults from my class who suffer from some sort of anxiety disorder. To tell you honestly, they’re not that hard to spot. They’re the ones who fidget whenever the professor asks them to present in class and are usually the ones complaining about abnormal heart palpitations whenever we have a difficult paper to submit.

Most of these people are actually my friends so I often feel sorry whenever they end up panicking over things I would normally take astride. I figured it must be some kind of medical condition because apparently, no amount coaxing and reassurance can convince them that they need to calm down; sadly, the whole situation is out of their control.

One of my friends who used to be a certified worry-wart told me how he overcame his chronic anxiety disorder. He told me about the Lindon Method, a certain kind of psychological treatment meant for people suffering from panic disorders. He used to go all sweaty and panicky whenever something important is going to take place, now, he’s no cooler than me when this kind of situation arises.

He also shared that he stopped fidgeting at the thought of public exposure and didn’t resent the prospect of failure as much as he used to. Overall, he looks like a new man to me.

Stopping Panic Attacks

I’m actually quite happy for him so I’ve decided to check the site out for myself, if only to satisfy my curiosity. I learned that the proponent of the Lindon Method is a certified psychologist, so that sort of solidified my thoughts on his program. I also browsed the many testaments of people claiming to have outgrown their panic attacks, thanks to sessions using the Lindon method. So with that, I figured it would be safe to suggest it to all the worry-warts I know who suffer from what I call, too much nervousness.

So far, the few people I’ve recommended the program to who have actually gave it a try aren’t complaining, though they still have to profess actual major changes like my worry-wart changed Mr. Cool guy friend, maybe because they are pretty early on the treatment.

For skeptics, I would still suggest you try the Lindon therapy. After all, it is not like it’s a surgical procedure wherein you could risk losing your life. It’s surely worth getting a go at if it will make you calmer in situations wherein you need your guts intact.

The thing about anxiety is that, it’s a major back-log as well as a turn-off, it doesn’t matter how common it is, and people will still perceive those suffering from this condition as unreliable individuals who can’t hold their own amidst pressure. And I don’t think drugs would be an option too. I’m always against the thought of making anyone dependent on something entirely unnatural for the body.

All in all, in my opinion based from the accounts I’ve seen, the Lindon program is a worthy step to take for people with problems controlling their anxiousness. It is certainly cheaper than most counseling therapies offered else where.
